Appearance
Kiwi is a small, hawk-like Beastkin woman with light beige feathers across her face, throat, and arms, broken by warm brown flight feathers along her shoulders, forearms, and back. Her movements are quick and economical, with sudden head tilts and minute shifts of balance that make her seem perpetually ready to spring onto a table. Her hooked beak is narrow and dark at the tip, while a pale scar cuts through the feathers beneath her left eye. She smiles easily, but the expression is unexpectedly sharp, revealing that her playfulness is partly a method of measuring danger. Despite her birdlike lightness, she has a sturdy, work-hardened posture and can carry two full trays without a tremor.
