Neris Vhal
Ranger
Neris Vhal
Species
Elf
Appearance
Neris Vhal is a lean, ash-skinned elf with the restless posture of someone who has spent years listening at doors and treeline shadows. His face is sharp and fine-boned, but softened by a constant look of wary amusement, as if he is always one joke ahead of danger. His left sleeve is sewn from soft midnight velvet while the rest of his gear is practical and weather-scuffed, a contradiction that makes him look half court musician, half frontier scout. He moves with quick, deliberate grace, placing each foot as though the ground might answer back. When he stands still, his fingers keep time against his thigh like he is hearing a tune nobody else can catch.
“Low, precise, and measured, with a marsh-country lilt that softens into songlike cadence when he is emotional. He never raises his voice unless someone is in immediate danger.”

“Velvet-low and slightly hoarse, as if from years of cold air and half-suppressed songs”

Weather-darkened ranger leathers layered beneath a short cloak lined in faded silver thread. He wears one polished silver earring, a marsh reed cord bracelet, and mud-scarred boots repaired so many times they are almost a family heirloom.
