Khrizka
Rogue-inspired skill NPC
Khrizka
Species
Goblin
Appearance
Khrizka is a compact, elderly goblin woman whose presence fills a room more effectively than her height suggests. She moves with a rapid, birdlike economy, never seeming to walk so much as pivot, slide, and appear beside the nearest pot. Her skin is rough around the knuckles and elbows, but her face is surprisingly soft, with a broad nose, deep smile lines, and a chin dusted in fine silver hairs. Her hands are permanently stained with saffron, soot, and beet juice. She smells of toasted cumin, hot iron, and rain on stone. The unexpected contradiction is her immaculate posture: despite her age and hunched cooking habits, she stands perfectly straight whenever anyone insults her food.
“Her Common is clipped, vivid, and full of sensory comparisons. She calls lies 'overcooked words,' cowards 'cold broth,' and good plans 'clean knives.”

Distinguishing Features
Her lower canine teeth are capped with tiny brass sleeves that click when she smiles.
She wears a necklace of seven blackened kitchen keys, each belonging to a place where she once cooked.
Her left thumb is unusually broad and flattened from decades of pressing dough and grinding spice.
She can identify most people in her kitchen by footstep rhythm alone.
She takes up more space than expected, planting herself in doorways and making everyone else move around her.
Voice
“A raspy contralto with surprising authority, like a kettle beginning to boil. Her laugh starts as a cough and ends in a sharp bark.”
Clothing
A layered charcoal-gray cook's coat patched with red thread, a smoke-stiffened apron, brass spice capsules tied across her chest, soft leather shoes, and a blue wool scarf inherited from a dead human merchant. Her sleeves are rolled high, revealing dozens of tiny burn marks on her forearms.
Body Language
Khrizka leans forward when listening, invading personal space without realizing it. Her eyes constantly travel to hands, doorways, and unattended cups rather than faces. When pleased, she drums two fingers against her wrist as though testing the tempo of a simmering pot. When challenged, she becomes unnervingly still.
