About
The shop, called Rivet House, stands in a narrow stone-fronted row of craft shops. Its name comes from the rivet-making trade that once filled this street; the old iron sign still bears a hand-forged rivet large as a fist. Inside, the air smells of leather, lamp oil, and hot metal. Armor hangs from wooden frames along the walls, while a long fitting rail and a battered workbench crowd the back. The owner measures customers with a knotted cord and insists on checking every buckle twice. The shop stocks armor only, with no shields or weapons. Custom fitting is available, usually for an additional 10 to 40 percent of the item's market price, depending on the changes needed.
