About

Thokk insists on spitting on any coin before accepting it to 'check for illusions'. He refuses to sell to anyone who cannot name a famous arena victor.

Stash

3 items to steal

The stash · GM only

The most valuable items and gold are kept in a massive safe carved directly into the black granite wall behind the forge, hidden behind a heavy hanging of dragon hide.

Security check: DC 22Dexterity (Thieves' Tools)
If they fail: The safe is rigged with a Glyph of Warding. Failure triggers a 5th level Thunderwave (5d8 thunder damage) that echoes through the canyon, alerting the Skeldrath city guards and Thokk himself.
The whole haul: About 4,500 gp

Purse of Platinum1500 gp
Kept: Locked in the granite safe
A velvet pouch containing 150 platinum pieces marked with the crest of a fallen dwarven kingdom.
The Ember-Eye Ledger500 gp
Kept: In a hidden compartment under the front counter
A book listing illegal weapon shipments and the names of corrupt Arena officials in Skeldrath. Highly valuable to the right blackmailer.
Gem-Encrusted Smithing Hammer2500 gp
Kept: Displayed on a rack behind the shopkeeper
A masterwork hammer with a head of solid obsidian, inlaid with rubies. It is Thokk's family heirloom.
