Stout iron shield, rimed from years of spray and salt but sound and serviceable.
A chain shirt tempered to resist rust, favored by sailors who still want mobility.
Scale mail with overlapping plates like fish scales, treated against saltwater corrosion.
A shield hammered and soaked in brine with a faint blue seam; it will not pit or sink.
A clear vial of red liquid kept chilled in a sea-salved chest. The staple of every adventuring kit.
Stout hempen rope, the sort every deck hand keeps coiled at their feet.
A heavy iron grappling hook with a swivel eye for attaching rope. Good for boarding and climbing.
A set of iron manacles, heavy and keyed — the smith stamps each set with Tidehammer's mark.
A palm-sized anchor enchanted to mark and hold a vessel in place when the crew needs it most.

Shop Atmosphere
“Tidehammer Forge sits on a pier where the smell of hot iron and sea brine hangs together. Salt-streaked tools hang from the rafters and a slow-working bellows puffs to the rhythm of the tide. The forge's owner speaks in a low tide-roughened voice and hums old sea shanties while hammering. He offers sailors discounted repairs for a cask of good rum and keeps a jar of polished sea glass coins on the counter as both a tip jar and a memory jar. The shop's front plank sometimes creaks at odd hours as if telling the tide where to turn.”
