A well-used but carefully maintained spellbook favored by scribes and apprentice wizards. Many pages are annotated in Infernal script and marginalia note cross-references to demonic treaties.

Contains blank and prewritten pages; ideal for a wizard to copy spells into. Not magical by itself.

A rare scroll penned in a tight, angular hand. The ink glitters like slag when exposed to moonlight.

When read, casts Disintegrate (6th-level). Consumed on use. Requires the reader to be able to cast the spell or make an ability check to use it safely.

A cramped parchment that radiates heat when unrolled. Perfect for a party that needs a one-shot area option.

When read, casts Fireball (3rd-level). Consumed on use.

A blackened rod capped in copper, warm to the touch. Sparks lick its tip when angered.

A wand containing multiple charges that can be spent to cast Fireball. Holds finite charges and regains some charges over time.

A simple ring of blackened silver set with a tiny brimstone chip. Feels slightly warm against the skin.

AC +1Grants a bonus to Armor Class and saving throws while worn.

A stout bag patched with infernal leather. Despite its modest exterior, it accommodates astonishing volumes.

Objects placed inside do not change the bag's external appearance. Dangerous interactions with extradimensional space can occur if combined with other such items.

A polished iron rod with a devilish sigil at one end. It hums faintly when pressed.

When activated, fixes its position relative to the environment; useful as an anchor or support.

An ancient volume whose pages are written in an elegant, alien hand. The margins are annotated with prayers and bargains.

A leather-bound arcane tome that, when its rites are properly followed, can grant a permanent increase to Wisdom and a corresponding rise to maximum Wisdom. Such tomes are consumed in the process.

A custom-bound grimoire with a cover like smoked glass. Its pages curl as though heated.

Grants the reader minor fiendish lore: while attuned, the wielder gains a bonus to spell attack rolls for spells that draw on necrotic or fire themes. The book contains three charges; expending a charge lets the reader cast Hellish Rebuke at 3rd level without expending a spell slot. The book regains charges at dawn.

A ledger bound in red-black hide. Its columns insist on totals and signatures.

Records loans and bargains perfectly. Each time the ledger is used to formalize a bargain, the user gains a small boon (advantage once on a Charisma check tied to the bargain) but also accumulates a subtle mark: while the mark remains, the user has disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws against charm or fear effects tied to fiends. The curse can be removed with a greater restoration or similar magic.

A feathered quill that whispers faintly when used. The barbs are as black as a raven's wing.

Expend one charge to cast Message. Expend three charges to cast Suggestion. Ink written by the quill fades from mundane eyes unless the user reveals it.

A small vial of ink that smells faintly of brimstone. The liquid is a deep, metallic red.

Words written with this ink become magically enforceable as written contracts against common folk unless they succeed at an Insight or Wisdom check to detect trickery. Not effective against strong protective magic or high-level undead/fiends.

A brass lantern whose flame burns blue at the core and crimson at the edges. Emblazoned with a sigil that matches the shop's logo.

Sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. Once per long rest, the lantern can flare and cause hostile creatures within 10 feet to take fire damage and become outlined in flickering light for easier targeting (advantage on first attack against them until the end of your next turn).

A tidy leather roll containing quality supplies for writing and binding.

A prepared set for scribes and chroniclers. Useful for copying spells and creating documents.

A smoky-gray map whose routes shift faintly when not watched.

When studied for at least 1 hour, grants insight: a single Intelligence (Investigation) check gains advantage. The map fades after three uses.
Armor1

A dark cloak threaded with tiny, rust-red symbols. It seems to shrug off bad fortune.

AC +1While worn, grants a bonus to Armor Class and saving throws.
Potions3

A small vial of red liquid. The cork is sealed with a smear of coal.

Heal 7 HPInstantly restores a small amount of hit points when consumed.

A vial filled with a brighter crimson liquid. The glass is etched with tiny runes.

Heal 14 HPStronger restorative draught favored by adventurers who tangle with devils.

A thick, smoky vial whose contents glow like embers. Handle with care.

Heal 28 HPA powerful restorative; expensive but often worth the cost in high-risk missions.

Shop Atmosphere

The shop smells faintly of old paper and brimstone. A small brass bell carved with a horned face rings on its own at odd minutes. Customers often find marginalia in purchased books that were not there before, sometimes offering unsolicited advice.
