High-quality vellum harvested from treated birch bark; resists smudging and molds when used with sylvan inks.

When inscribed with nonmagical writing it subtly smells of crushed leaves for 24 hours.

A feathered quill plucked from a fey raven; accelerates scribing and can record spoken phrases when used.

When used to scribe a scroll, the process takes half the time. Can also record up to 10 minutes of speech once per day.

A shimmering green ink brewed from sap and moon-blossom; binds magic to parchment more reliably.

When used to create a spell scroll, grants +2 to the DC of the spellcasting ability check required if the user cannot cast the spell.

A bound folio whose pages are subtly alive. Contains three embedded scroll-casts that recharge at dawn.

Holds three charges each of (user's choice when purchased) up to 6th-level spells drawn from the Scriptorium's stock. One charge per casting; recharges all charges at dawn.

A hollowed cedar tube lined with runed silk; prevents spells on contained scrolls from decaying.

Paired with a ward that prevents ambient anti-magic from degrading stored scrolls (duration: 30 days).

Shop Atmosphere

The Scriptorium smells faintly of wet earth and ink. Thalindra will only haggle if the buyer presents a living leaf token (given freely to those who pledge to do no harm to the grove) or offers a trade of lore (a unique or unusual story about a place in the forest). The shop's shelves rearrange themselves at dusk; items not meant for mortal hands are shuffled into hidden alcoves. Thalindra occasionally reads the margins of unwary buyers' notes and leaves helpful annotations in a coppery script.
