Radiant and perpetually burgeoning with life, the Oumora are a species of fox-eared women who dwell in the sun-drenched grasslands. Carrying triplets as a biological standard, they move with a graceful, heavy-footed confidence, embracing a lifestyle of minimal attire and profound physical openness. To encounter an Oumora is to meet a being of warmth and soft strength, one who views the world through crimson eyes and treats every traveler with the hospitality of a mother-to-be.
Physical Description
The Oumora are a striking all-female species possessing smooth, soft skin and vivid crimson red eyes that catch the light. They have fox-like ears and long, silky tails that emerge from the base of their spine. Their silhouettes are defined by very wide hips and exceptionally large breasts, though their limbs remain slim and elegant. Most notably, every Oumora possesses a very large, round pregnant belly, as they carry triplets as a natural biological state. They find traditional clothing painfully restrictive and prefer to wear only minimal undergarments such as lace bras and intimate briefs. In moments of heat or discomfort, they frequently tear their clothes off to remain completely naked, allowing them to rest more comfortably. When they lie down, they often spread their legs to catch the breeze and keep both hands protectively cradled over the middle of their round bellies.
Society & Culture
Oumora society is centered around the concept of communal nurturing and the joy of the cycle of life. Because they are all women and all share the experience of carrying triplets, there is little hierarchy based on status or wealth. Their culture is one of extreme physical comfort and lack of shame. They spend much of their time in communal sun-basking areas, where they lie back and rub their bellies together, sharing the kicks of their unborn young. They value freedom of movement above all else, which has led to a cultural disdain for complex fashion; they consider the tearing of one's own clothing to be a sign of true relaxation and honesty.
Religion & Alignment
Most Oumora lean toward Neutral Good alignments, driven by a deep instinct to protect life and foster growth. They often worship personifications of the sun and the fertile earth, seeing the plains as a giant cradle that provides for their unique needs.
Homelands & Architecture
The Oumora build low, open-air pavilions in the high grasses of the plains. Their architecture lacks stairs, favoring gentle ramps and soft, cushioned floors covered in silks. There are no doors in their dwellings, only light curtains, and every room is designed to allow a reclining Oumora to stretch out her legs and rest her heavy belly in the warmth of the sun.
Relationships With Other Peoples
Other species often find the Oumora to be disarmingly forward and relaxed. The Oumora treat almost everyone they meet like a distant relative, though they can be fiercely protective if they sense a threat to their community. They find the heavily armored or layered clothing of other humanoid species to be baffling and often offer to help travelers shed their heavy gear so they can relax properly.
