At the table
Your ancestry has the aberration and humanoid traits. You are Medium.
Your serpentine eyes adapt to darkness. You gain darkvision with a range of 60 feet.
Your flexible lower body gives you a crawling Speed of 25 feet. You can move over uneven ground with a flowing, low posture, but you do not gain a climb Speed from this trait.
You possess venomous fangs. Once per day, you can make a fangs Strike that deals piercing damage and exposes the target to your venom. The Strike uses your unarmed attack proficiency and deals piercing damage. On a hit, the target attempts a Fortitude save against your class DC or spell DC, whichever is higher. On a failure, it takes poison damage; on a critical failure, it takes poison damage and is enfeebled 1 for 1 round. The venom has no effect on a creature immune to poison.
Your people are adept at reading social structures and keeping track of who holds power. You are trained in Society. If you would automatically become trained in Society, you instead become trained in another skill of your choice.

As a Pathfinder 2E Ancestry, the vrael olo suit characters who favor physical endurance, keen perception, and forceful personality. Their ancestry does not lock ability boosts; use the boosts and flaw appropriate to your table's ancestry rules.
Nearly wholly serpentine, with a venomous wedge-shaped head, humanoid torso and arms, and a powerful snake-like lower body.
Abominations occupy the highest common caste and are formidable presences, prized for magic, strategic intelligence, and the capacity to rule. Choose this heritage to emphasize an imposing, thoroughly serpentine body. You become trained in Intimidation; if you are already trained, become trained in another skill of your choice.
Called the favored ones in their own tongue, the vrael olo are an intelligent, magically potent people whose society ranks its members by how completely they have become serpentine. Their abominations rule through scholarship, venom, and carefully cultivated fear. Yet not all accept the legacy of domination: albino descendants of the Dyris hunt the worst of their kind and search among the ruins for a culture they can still reclaim.
Vrael olo are the people commonly mistaken for one of Ryma's scaled ancestries, but their origin is different: they descend from the Dyris, humans transformed by forbidden magic.
Their bodies vary by caste. Abominations have wedge-shaped, venomous heads, scale-covered humanoid torsos with powerful arms, and long, entirely serpentine lower bodies. Their scales are commonly green or brown, though blue, red, striped, diamond-patterned, and swirling varieties occur. Malisons retain a humanoid outline with prominent serpentine features, while purebloods appear nearly human. Rare albinos have pale scales and eyes, and are traditionally associated with resistance to the dominant culture's corruption.
Warm marshes, jungle valleys, cavern complexes, and buried Dyris ruins, though individuals can survive in most temperate regions if they can find shelter and meat.
Newly hatched, a young vrael olo learns to hunt, read scent and movement, and recognize the brood's marks under a broodguard's care.
An adolescent is expected to master a useful craft or magical discipline and establish a place in the caste order.
Adults pursue influence, territory, and knowledge, often measuring worth by the power they can command.
An elder's accumulated secrets and alliances can outweigh physical decline. Many become priestly advisers or brood-matrons and patriarchs.
Vrael olo call themselves the favored ones, and organize their society by degree of serpentine transformation.
Abominations stand above malisons and purebloods; only the exceptionally rare anathemas outrank them. Status is demonstrated through command of magic, control of territory, and the number of followers or captives one can compel. Females lay eggs in marked brood chambers, after which broodguards raise the hatchlings. Vrael olo are consummate carnivores and may prey on warm-blooded people. Albinos are rare descendants of Dyris who resisted the original dark magic but were still changed by its lingering corruption. They often oppose the dominant castes and try to salvage Dyris history.
Many vrael olo serve cruel deities, fiends, or entities from the Far Realm, seeking power and dominion through devotion.
Their society is predominantly evil and often chaotic, but neither alignment nor faith is universal. Some reject such patrons, while albino hunters tend to honor the memory of the Dyris or the dead who resisted corruption.
Most vrael olo regard other peoples as potential subjects, offerings, or meals, and many outsiders return that contempt with fear and hatred.
Individual exceptions exist, especially among albino Dyris-descended communities and those who have left the brood hierarchy. Trust is possible, but it is usually earned through repeated action rather than promises. A vrael olo adventurer may need to prove that their companions are allies, not possessions.
Their strongholds occupy humid caves, sinkhole temples, and the reclaimed shells of Dyris cities.
Serpentine ramps and broad, smooth floors suit their bodies; elevated ledges provide places to observe guests and command guards. Brood chambers are kept warm and marked with careful records of parentage. Carved stone often overlays older Dyris geometry, a deliberate claim of inheritance by those who destroyed it.
