Overview

History

The Millstone Inn was established eighty years ago following a massive hurricane that pushed the merchant vessel Gallant Wind nearly a hundred yards inland. Rather than scrap the wreckage, a group of masons built a stone foundation around the hull to create the most sturdy structure in the docks.

Quirks

The overhead galleon ribs vibrate and produce a low, haunting humming sound during high tide that mimics a whale-song. Additionally, all compass needles in the building point toward the central support pillar rather than north.

What locals say

Local legend suggests the Gallant Wind was carrying a cursed artifact from a sunken civilization. Although no treasure was found in the wreckage, the building has a reputation for strange whispers and patrons often report the sensation of being watched by invisible eyes.
