Path of Primal Rage

Barbarians of the Path of Primal Rage kindle their fury from the untamed forces of the living world. In battle, their bodies take on savage features—claws, horns, fangs, or the coiled strength of a stalking beast—without surrendering their own shape or will. They favor solitude and the blunt honesty of the wild, but their ferocity can make them staunch protectors of places and people civilization overlooks. Their niche is close-quarters pressure: natural strikes gain a focused rider, then mature into tools for pursuit and disruption.

Level 3, reached
Primal Shape
When you enter your Rage, choose one aspect from the Primal Aspects list. The aspect lasts until your Rage ends. While raging, your unarmed strikes deal 1d8 damage instead of their normal damage, using Strength for attack and damage rolls, and count as simple melee weapons. They can use the chosen aspect's benefit. Your hands remain free when you make these strikes.
Level 6
Aspect Mastery
Your chosen aspect sharpens. While raging, you gain its mastery benefit: Bear: you have Advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. Boar: when you move at least 10 feet straight toward a creature before hitting it with an unarmed strike on the same turn, that creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Strength modifier) or be pushed up to 10 feet away from you. Cat: you gain a Climb Speed equal to your Speed. Wolf: once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can give yourself Advantage on the next attack roll you make against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Level 10
Predator's Pursuit
While raging, when a creature you can see ends its turn within 30 feet of you, you can take a Reaction to move up to half your Speed toward it. This movement doesn't provoke Opportunity Attacks from that creature. You must end this movement closer to that creature than you started. You can use this Reaction only while raging.
Level 14
Apex Onslaught
While raging, once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can deal an extra 1d8 damage to it and force it to make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition. The extra damage is the same type as the strike.

Bond: I guard a stretch of wild country that sheltered me when no person would.
Flaw: You can mistake a reasonable compromise for weakness or fear.
Quirk: You pause to identify nearby birds, tracks, or unfamiliar scents.
