A ribbon-skirter turns acrobatics and stagecraft into a skirmisher’s art. Once a circus performer, a fugitive, or simply someone who learned to make every step a flourish, she darts through danger, catches foes off balance, and is gone before they can strike back. Her ribbons may be silk, weighted cord, or improvised streamers; the true weapon is her impossible timing.
Every step is an escape route.

You gain proficiency with the Acrobatics skill. You can use a ribbon, streamer, or similar flexible prop as a flourish while wielding a finesse weapon; it has no independent attack statistics. Once on each of your turns when you deal Sneak Attack damage to a creature, choose one: move up to 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks from that creature, or force it to make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your Proficiency Bonus). On a failure, you move it up to 5 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. This movement cannot move it into a hazard. In addition, your Speed increases by 5 feet while you aren't wearing Heavy armor.
Your leaps and turns carry you through spaces others cannot easily use. You gain a Climb Speed equal to your Speed, and you can move across a vertical surface or along a ceiling during your turn without falling, provided you end that turn on a surface that can support you. You can also move through the space of any creature that is at least one size larger than you, treating it as Difficult Terrain. You can't end your turn in another creature's space.
When a creature you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your Reaction to halve the attack's damage, as with Uncanny Dodge, and then move up to 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks. This movement can pass through other creatures' spaces as allowed by Impossible Footwork. If the attack misses you, you can instead use this Reaction to move up to half your Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Your dance becomes a blur of silk and sudden angles. Once on each of your turns when you deal Sneak Attack damage, you can choose a different creature within 10 feet of the original target that you can see. That creature takes damage equal to your Dexterity modifier + half your Rogue level (rounded up), and you can move up to 15 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks. This damage is the same type as the weapon used for the Sneak Attack and cannot itself trigger Sneak Attack or this feature.

A ribbon-skirter turns acrobatics and stagecraft into a skirmisher’s art.

Strike where an ally gives you an opening, then use Ribbon Flourish to reposition or spoil an enemy’s footing.
Your best turn usually ends somewhere difficult to pin down. Save Slip the Noose for a dangerous hit or a crucial escape, and use your climb and small stature creatively without assuming every obstacle can be bypassed.
Most learn by performing: balancing on ropes, tumbling through crowded stages, and making a ribbon hide the moment a hand reaches for a lock.
Some are trained by fellow escapees; others teach themselves while fleeing. Initiation is informal—a mentor asks the student to cross a dangerous space, retrieve someone in need, and leave no one behind.
Most people find ribbon-skirters charming until they realize how quickly one can cross a room, undo a guard’s advantage, or vanish into a crowd.
Performers and runaways often admire them; circus owners, slavers, and rigid authorities tend to regard them as trouble.
