A bard of the Crown of Echoes turns performance into battlefield command. Their voice can steady allies, blunt a lethal blow, and thread magic through the rhythm of a fight. They are not merely the loudest presence in the room: they make every ally’s action land like the decisive note in a masterwork.
Every voice becomes a weapon when the chorus finds its conductor.

When you give a creature a Bardic Inspiration die, you can choose yourself instead of another creature. The creature can use the die as normal. When it rolls the die and adds it to an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, it also gains Temporary Hit Points equal to the number rolled plus your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). These Temporary Hit Points last until the start of your next turn.
When a creature you can see within 60 feet takes damage, you can take a Reaction and expend one use of Bardic Inspiration to reduce that damage by the number rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die plus your Charisma modifier (minimum reduction of 1). If this reduces the damage to 0, that creature can immediately move up to half its Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Once on each of your turns, immediately after you deal damage to a creature or restore Hit Points to a creature with a Bard spell, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration. Roll the die and choose one creature affected by the spell: add the roll to the damage dealt to it or to the Hit Points restored to it. If you choose a creature you can see, it can also move up to 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
As a Bonus Action, you can expend two uses of Bardic Inspiration to begin a Grand Coda, which lasts for 1 minute or until you have the Incapacitated condition. When you start it, choose up to six willing creatures you can see within 60 feet, including yourself. For the duration, each chosen creature has Advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened and can add your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) to one damage roll on each of its turns. In addition, once during the duration, when a chosen creature fails an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead. A creature can use this benefit only once per Grand Coda. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

A bard of the Crown of Echoes turns performance into battlefield command.
Their voice can steady allies, blunt a lethal blow, and thread magic through the rhythm of a fight. They are not merely the loudest presence in the room: they make every ally’s action land like the decisive note in a masterwork.
You play as a flexible support who can become an offensive amplifier when the moment calls for it.
Give Bardic Inspiration early, save your Reaction for a dangerous hit, and use Spellwoven Crescendo to turn a well-timed spell into a team-wide opening. Grand Coda rewards you for coordinating the group rather than acting alone.
A prospective Crown of Echoes learns breath, timing, and attentive listening before attempting to lead a chorus.
Initiation usually requires directing a live performance under pressure: the candidate must hear each participant, adapt the music to the moment, and bring the ensemble to a shared ending without silencing any voice.
People often welcome a Crown of Echoes as an inspiring performer, then grow wary when they realize the bard can turn a scattered crowd into a coordinated force.
Soldiers prize them; rulers may regard them as dangerously persuasive.
