The brush explodes as a warped stag bursts into the clearing, eyes white and ribs heaving. A doe skids sideways through black sap, and a fawn stamps and screams at shadows only it can see. Every animal here is ready to flee or fight if cornered.

Terrain Levers
- Kick over a fallen log to make a narrow choke point
- Burn or smear away necrotic sap patches to open safer footing
- Lure a deer around the clearer edge with a loud call or food
