Keep the Caravan from Being Taken by the Tide
Read Aloud
Salt sand shifts under shattered wagon wheels. The reeds ahead rattle, and dark shapes move in the brackish pools between the stone ridges. Then the water starts to come in, fast and cold, and the first sahuagin breaks from cover.

Battlefield Zones
1
The Wagon Line
Broken wagons half-buried in salt sand. Canvas flaps, axle splinters, and crates make rough cover.
2
The Flood Flat
Shallow brackish pools with slick mud. Water rises here first and leaves footing bad.
3
The Ridge
Low stone ridges with glassy reeds. Good sightlines, sharp footing, and hiding spots in the reeds.
Terrain Levers
- Kick over a wagon to make hard cover and a chokepoint
- Crack a stone ridge to spill saltwater into a lane
- Burn the reed patch to force a pack of merrow to shift
- Cut loose a trapped team of mules to create noise and chaos
