Battle of the Silver Ford
Read Aloud
The river hammers the broken bridge as black shapes claw up through the flood. On the far bank, two orc shamans raise bone staffs and the water answers with shadow. Allied archers loose from behind the wagons. Hold the ford, or give ground before the current takes you.
