Heat hits first. The ruined chapel shudders as a huge red shape unfolds from the smoke above the broken altar. Stone pops under clawed feet. The dragon lowers its head, nostrils flaring at the smell of armor, oil, and fear. Behind it, the mountain wall glows dull red where fire has been licking through the cracks for days.

Terrain Levers
- Loose roof stones. Drop them to block a passage or force a Dex save in a lane.
- Broken braziers. Kick coals into a zone to make a short-lived fire patch.
- Cracked bell tower chain. Cut it to drop rubble and seal one route.
