Lorelei is a rangy tiefling woman whose presence seems to arrive a heartbeat before she does. She moves with a loose, side-to-side sway, as if keeping time with music no one else can hear, yet when danger appears she becomes unnervingly still. Her horns sweep backward in tight ridges like blackened river stone, and one is wrapped in dozens of tiny copper rings that chime when she turns her head. Her tail is narrow and expressive, usually curled around a chair leg or the strap of her instrument. The unexpected thing about her is her hands: broad-palmed, callused, and visibly built for hauling crates rather than playing delicate music. She leaves people with the impression of a traveling singer, a watchful dockworker, and a badly concealed general all at once.

A weatherproof scarf is knotted around her waist instead of her neck, and every repair has been made with copper-colored thread.
Body Language
She leans slightly forward when listening, keeps her tail wrapped around something solid, and taps two fingers against her wrist in steady measures. In combat she barely moves her feet, directing others with her chin, fingers, and sudden turns of the horn rings.
