Mórven Heddra
High Arbiter, Abjuration Magistrate
Mórven Heddra
Species
Elf
Appearance
Morana is tall and reed-slender, with the stillness of a carved court statue and the subtle balance of someone accustomed to roots, mud, and uneven forest floors. Her pale green skin carries fine silver freckles across the cheekbones, like frost caught beneath bark. Her long black hair is threaded with living white moss that curls and uncurls according to her mood. One side of her face is severe and immaculate, while the other bears a delicate scatter of old burn scars from the Verdant Deep. Her hands are elegant but stained permanently dark beneath the nails by peat, ink, and crushed medicinal leaves. She moves with measured grace, yet when startled she turns with startling animal quickness, head first and shoulders second. Her presence leaves an impression of cold authority softened by the scent of rain-soaked earth, crushed fern, and candle smoke.
“Her voice is low, exact, and unhurried, with an unexpected roughness at the end of certain vowels. She speaks as though every sentence may be entered into a permanent record.”

Distinguishing Features
A crescent of white burn scars crosses the left cheek and disappears beneath the ear.
Living moss grows through her black hair and changes position when she lies.
Her left thumb bears a faded execution mark from a sentence she once carried out herself.
Her scepter rings softly when someone nearby speaks a deliberate falsehood, though it cannot distinguish ignorance from deception.
Voice
“Low, precise, and resonant, like a courthouse bell heard through wet leaves”
Clothing
She wears layered robes of deep indigo silk, waxed ferncloth, and woven silverleaf. A stiff collar bears seven small metal leaves, one for each founding house of the Evergreen Courts. Her boots are soft-soled and mudproof, concealed beneath the hem. She wears no visible jewelry except a black iron signet set with a sliver of crystalline root.
Body Language
Morana keeps her shoulders relaxed, her chin level, and her hands folded lightly over the head of her scepter. She rarely points. Instead, one finger rises by a fraction when she has reached a decision. In private grief, she rubs the scarred side of her face and stares toward the nearest patch of living green.
