Appearance
Koba is a lean, long-limbed human man with the compact balance of someone who has spent more years climbing fences than sitting in chairs. He moves with an economical forward tilt, as if every room were part of a trail. His dark skin is weathered at the knuckles and elbows, while his face remains unexpectedly soft and almost boyish when he is at rest. His eyes rarely settle on a speaker's face. They measure exits, boot leather, loose gravel, window latches, and the distance between hands and weapons. His most noticeable feature is a narrow strip of pale cloth sewn into the inside of his left sleeve, kept immaculate despite the rest of his clothing being dusty and repeatedly repaired. He leaves the impression of a quiet laborer who has somehow learned to make stillness threatening.
“Plainspoken and low-key, with a practical rhythm. He rarely uses more words than necessary, but his descriptions of tracks and weather become unexpectedly precise.”

Distinguishing Features
His gaze continually maps the room instead of resting on faces.
The immaculate pale cloth sewn inside his left sleeve is cared for more carefully than any other possession.
He carries a small brass clasp polished bright against otherwise battered clothing.
He walks with a forward-leaning, workmanlike economy, never quite standing fully at ease.
His hands are stained with blue dye from repeatedly marking maps and trail signs.
Voice
“A low, dry baritone with a faint rasp, as if each sentence has passed through dust before reaching the listener”
Clothing
A faded brown work coat reinforced with mismatched leather panels, a sleeveless quilted vest, dark trousers tucked into soft-soled riding boots, and a blue-gray scarf wrapped twice around his neck. Every piece has been repaired, but the brass clasp on his left wrist is polished daily. The coat is slightly too large, inherited from a dead caravan master, giving him the silhouette of an ordinary laborer until he begins moving.
Body Language
Koba stands slightly off-center in every conversation, keeping a clear line toward the nearest exit. He lowers his chin when making a threat and raises it when offering mercy. His hands are usually occupied with a strap, a whetstone, or a folded scrap of cloth. When genuinely angry, he becomes unusually motionless.
