Appearance
Sun Tamer is a tall, narrow woman whose presence seems to occupy more space than her body does. She waits with her weight balanced on the balls of her feet, as if every conversation might become a duel. Her skin is deep copper with a dry, sun-polished texture, and a faint constellation of pale ritual dots circles her wrists. Her black hair is shaved close on one side and gathered into a long, heavy braid on the other, threaded with tiny brass bells that never quite ring in the same rhythm. She moves with unnerving precision, never brushing against furniture or people. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: broad, work-roughened, and stained beneath the nails with soil, as though she spends her nights tending an ordinary garden.
“Measured, exact, and faintly formal. She speaks as though every sentence is being entered into a legal record, but occasionally uses plain domestic phrases when discussing gardening, food, or Meren.”

Distinguishing Features
A long braid threaded with brass bells that seem to fall silent whenever she lies
Pale ritual dots circling both wrists in geometric patterns
Hands roughened by gardening despite her aristocratic robes
A red veil that casts a faint gold reflection across her face in direct sunlight
A habit of making every room feel like it has become her office
Voice
“A low, warm contralto with a dry edge, like a brass instrument heard through a closed door. When casting, her voice becomes almost tender.”
Clothing
A layered crimson traveling robe cut for movement, reinforced with dark leather panels at the ribs and forearms. The robe's inner lining is patterned with faded gold suns, while the outer hem is deliberately stained with ash. She wears a high bronze collar, fingerless gloves, soft desert boots, and a red veil that she lowers only when casting a spell of unusual importance.
Body Language
Sun Tamer stands too close when she wants obedience and unusually far away when she feels vulnerable. She keeps one hand open and visible while the other rests near her spell focus. During pauses, she tilts her head toward the nearest source of sunlight, almost unconsciously.
