Krezha Vostrik
Occult Patron
Krezha Vostrik
Species
Unquiet Archivist, a custom incorporeal undead
Appearance
Krezha Vost appears only in fragments. A shoulder interrupts candlelight, a narrow hand presses against fogged glass, or a humanlike silhouette gathers where several shadows overlap. When partially visible, it has a compact, almost ordinary shape wrapped in layered black cloth that looks wet without dripping. Its edges blur like ink spreading through parchment. The unexpected detail is its careful domesticity: one visible cuff is always neatly mended with pale red thread, and the entity sometimes pauses to straighten a crooked chair or fold a discarded napkin before vanishing. It leaves the impression of both an ancient haunting and an anxious houseguest.
“A low, careful voice with the texture of pages turning in an empty room. It pauses before names, speaks softly when threatening someone, and becomes almost warmly conversational when discussing repairs or old household routines.”

Distinguishing Features
Its presence is usually noticed through shadows bending toward it instead of away from the light.
A pale red repair thread appears on any garment or cloth object it touches for more than a few seconds.
It compulsively straightens crooked objects, even during tense conversations.
A faint smell of wet paper and extinguished candlewick follows it.
Its silhouette sometimes has no head, yet nearby mirrors still show the impression of a face looking back.
Voice
“Soft, measured, and intimate, like someone speaking beside a sleeping child. Its anger makes the voice quieter and more articulate rather than louder.”
Clothing
Layered mourning garments, a high-collared coat, soft shoes, and a repeatedly mended cuff threaded with pale red. The cloth absorbs candlelight instead of reflecting it.
Body Language
Its movements are economical and oddly considerate. It angles itself away from sleeping people, makes room in doorways, and turns its unseen face toward whoever is speaking. Anger is shown by ink gathering in sharp vertical lines on nearby surfaces. Affection appears as objects being quietly repaired or placed within easy reach.
