Tiefling
Appearance
Brask Vörszk is a lean, long-limbed tiefling who seems to fold himself into whatever space he occupies. He stands with his shoulders angled and one heel raised, as if perpetually listening for water beneath the floor. His movements are quiet but not graceful. He advances in small, exact adjustments, then suddenly crosses a room with startling speed. His curled black horns are polished at the tips from years of rubbing them while thinking, while the bases are dusted with pale mineral grit from the sewers. His tail is thick at the root and unusually still, except when someone lies. Despite his hard mercenary clothing and watchful expression, he keeps a tiny stitched blue ribbon tied around one wrist, a childish and unexpectedly delicate detail that clashes with the rest of him.
“His voice is low, dry, and carefully paced. He speaks with the clipped economy of a veteran negotiator, placing unusual emphasis on measurements and names.”

Distinguishing Features
His tail remains unnaturally still while he speaks, then taps whenever someone lies.
The tips of his horns are polished smooth, while their bases carry pale limestone dust.
He smells faintly of mint, lamp oil, wet wool, and iron.
He wears a childish blue ribbon on his wrist and becomes defensive if anyone asks about it.
He has a habit of standing half a step too close, as if measuring whether another person could reach a weapon.
Voice
“A gravelly baritone with a careful rhythm, like stones being sorted in a bucket. He rarely raises his voice. When he does, the sudden force makes nearby conversations stop.”
Clothing
A dark green boiled-leather coat reinforced with brass sewer plates, close-fitting charcoal trousers, knee-high waterproof boots, and a sleeveless wool mantle treated with wax. His belt carries lockpicks, chalk, wire, and small ceramic vials. A faded blue ribbon remains tied around his right wrist.
Body Language
He angles his body toward exits and keeps his left shoulder slightly forward. He invades personal space when testing someone, leaning close enough for them to smell lamp oil and mint, but retreats abruptly when sincere emotion enters the conversation.
