Morvath
Sovereign Guardian, Way of the Deep Spark Monk
Morvath
Species
Ancient Bronze Dragon
Appearance
Morvath is a colossal ancient bronze dragon whose weathered scales have darkened to the green-brown patina of old temple doors. Thin seams of warm gold light pulse beneath his plates whenever the leyline current shifts. His horns sweep backward like eroded stone branches, and his broad muzzle bears tiny flecks of bronze dust from centuries spent resting against the sanctuary vaults. He moves with startling quiet for his size, folding each limb with the careful precision of a monk lowering himself into meditation. The unexpected contradiction is in his hands: enormous, blunt claws scarred by mineral abrasion, yet capable of arranging grains of Star-Sand into intricate geometric patterns without disturbing a single line.
“His voice is a deep, measured resonance that seems to arrive through the stone before it reaches the ear. Every syllable carries a faint metallic overtone, while moments of anger introduce the sharp scent and crackle of ozone.”

Distinguishing Features
A constant low hum surrounds him, like distant machinery vibrating through a stone floor.
His scales bear faint geometric discolorations where the Ashen Resonance ritual redirected the leyline through his body.
His enormous claws are worn smooth at the tips from arranging Star-Sand into meditation diagrams.
Three basalt prayer cords hang from his horns, with one visibly repaired using red thread.
Static gathers along his wing edges whenever someone speaks the name of the Unbound Ember.
Voice
“Low, resonant, patient, and metallic, with the subsonic vibration of a distant forge and the occasional sharp crackle of static beneath his words”
Clothing
Morvath wears no armor. Three broad prayer cords of black basalt fiber hang from the base of his horns, each threaded with copper tablets engraved with the names of dead sanctuary keepers. One cord is repaired with plain red sewing thread, an embarrassingly humble mending he refuses to replace. A narrow ceremonial sash circles his torso, its bronze cloth repeatedly patched by kobold archivists.
Body Language
Morvath keeps his head slightly lowered, not submissively, but as though listening to a voice beneath the stone. His claws remain folded whenever possible. When someone lies, a faint blue spark crawls from one horn to the other, and the dragon's tail settles into a perfectly straight line.
