Appearance
Nadira is a compact, long-limbed human woman with a narrow waist, powerful dancer's legs, and the balanced stillness of someone who can turn a stumble into an attack. She moves as if every room has an invisible rhythm only she can hear, taking up more space than her slight frame should allow because her veils and gestures keep orbiting her. Her skin has a warm bronze tone with a fine dusting of gold across her shoulders, as though desert light has settled beneath it. Her most immediately noticeable feature is her mouth. Her upper incisors are slightly too long and pointed, not monstrous, but sharp enough to show when she smiles. She eats with meticulous table manners, yet laughs with her whole jaw open, revealing the teeth like a warning. Contradicting her seductive, dangerous appearance, she has an almost painfully domestic habit of smoothing crumbs into a neat line before speaking.
“Her speech is low, deliberate, and musical without becoming sing-song. She places unexpected stress on ordinary words, making a simple sentence sound like a warning or a private joke.”

Distinguishing Features
Her slightly elongated upper incisors show whenever she laughs, giving her smile a charming but unsettling edge.
She carries herself as though an invisible performance is always underway, even while standing in mud or eating soup.
A pale crescent of depigmented skin curves around her right wrist, the result of an old chemical burn from a stage prop, and she decorates it with henna rather than hiding it.
Her brass ankle bells are deliberately muffled, yet one bell always gives a single soft chime when she lies.
She can stand motionless for several minutes while her veils continue drifting from her controlled breathing.
Voice
“A smoky contralto with a dry warmth, usually soft enough to make listeners lean closer. When she gives an order, the softness remains, which makes it more alarming.”
Clothing
Layered translucent saffron, crimson, and midnight-blue veils spiral from a jeweled head wrap and hip scarf. Beneath them she wears fitted dark leather armor, a sleeveless charcoal tunic, wrapped trousers, ornate brass sandals, and narrow gold-threaded bands around her wrists. The clothing is practical beneath its theatrical surface, with hidden seams, reinforced soles, and pockets sewn into the veil layers.
Body Language
She stands on the balls of her feet, leaning slightly forward as if already beginning a turn. Her hands rarely become still. Even during serious conversations, her fingers arrange tassels, trace invisible circles, or measure the distance to nearby weapons. When frightened, she grows quieter rather than retreating, and her smile becomes unnaturally broad.
