Sarella Vex is a slender tiefling woman with polished obsidian horns that curl back like a ram's but taper to needle points, each horn lacquered with a faint red sheen where she has rubbed them with oil and ash. Her skin is a deep claret with smoky undertones, soft as velvet at a glance but marked by a patchwork of old knife scars across her forearms and ribs. She moves with the careful, low balance of a cat on a ledge, yet her left boot always lands a heartbeat louder than the right, as if she is trying to remind the world she is there. The most startling thing about her is her smile, warm and almost grandmotherly, which sits oddly beneath a face built for suspicion. One eye is gold-flecked amber, the other a pale gray with a tiny crescent-shaped nick in the iris, and when she is amused the amber one seems to glow brighter than the nearest lantern.
