Species
Tiefling
Appearance
A slender, wiry young tiefling woman stands with playful upright poise, her head cocked as if every conversation is a private joke. Her slate-grey skin carries a muted purple undertone and a faint powdery texture around the knuckles, like soot that never quite washes away. Her large blood-red eyes are flecked with copper and reflect firelight in sharp pinpricks. Two very short black horns rise from her forehead, more like polished black pebbles than grand infernal antlers. She has a narrow elegant face, red lips, blushed cheeks, tiny white fangs, and pointed catlike ears that swivel toward every sound. Her black hair is cropped close at the sides, with uneven wisps falling over the crown. She moves lightly and deliberately, never quite standing where people expect her to be. The contradictory impression she leaves is of someone physically delicate but difficult to unsettle, like a paper lantern with a stone hidden inside it.
“Quick, low, and lightly amused, with frontier slang softened by careful diction. Her voice becomes unexpectedly gentle when speaking to frightened people.”

Distinguishing Features
Two unusually short polished black horns.
Copper flecks in blood-red irises that brighten near open flame.
A silver-grey bracelet etched with tiny tally marks.
A small burn scar shaped like a crescent beneath her right collarbone.
Her shadow sometimes raises its hand a moment after she does.
Voice
“A low, smoky contralto with a teasing rhythm, as though every sentence has a second version she is choosing not to say.”
Clothing
A cream rolled-sleeve blouse with smoke-darkened cuffs, charcoal trousers tucked into polished leather ankle boots, and a vibrant plum duster with no visible pockets. A silver-grey bracelet circles her left wrist, and her clean fingers bear only one simple silver ring. She carries a plain thin wooden wand etched with abstract lines.
Body Language
She keeps her shoulders loose and her weight on the balls of her feet. Her head tilts when she studies a lie. Her tail curls around a chair leg when she feels trapped and flicks sharply whenever someone mentions the mine collapse.
