Kuskri Yupanq
Rogue, custom Sewer Knife archetype
Kuskri Yupanq
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Kuskri is a broad-shouldered half-orc with the compact, balanced posture of someone accustomed to walking on slick stone. His skin has a deep olive-gray cast, textured like weathered river clay, and his coarse black hair is braided into three short cords that click against the brass rings at his nape when he turns. His lower tusks are filed flat, not for style but to prevent them catching on a rebreather mask. He moves with unnerving quiet for a man of his size, placing each foot as though testing ice. Within a minute of meeting him, most people notice that his eyes rarely settle on faces. They track drains, ceiling joints, hands, exits, and the movement of water. The unexpected contradiction is his hands: scarred, callused, and capable of strangling a man, yet always occupied with delicate repairs to tiny copper music boxes.
“His voice is low, rough, and unexpectedly careful, with clipped consonants and a rolling rhythm inherited from his mother's highland dialect. He pauses before names, as though checking whether the person deserves to be remembered.”

Distinguishing Features
A battered copper music-box key hangs from his left ear by a loop of black cord, and its teeth have polished a bright oval into the leather beneath it.
His tusks are filed flat and capped with tiny iron bands etched with water-level marks.
A narrow strip of blue cloth is sewn inside his left cuff, the only surviving piece of his sister's flood-soaked coat.
He carries a palm-sized copper box and repairs it compulsively, though he never lets anyone hear the melody inside.
His eyes map rooms instead of meeting faces, pausing longest at drains, hands, and overhead beams.
Voice
“A low baritone with a dry rasp, like rope dragged across wet stone. He becomes almost whisper-quiet when angry, forcing listeners to lean closer.”
Clothing
A sleeveless charcoal brigandine coat worn over a dark linen shirt, waterproof trousers tucked into knee-high boots, and a patched green sash bearing the faded colors of the Red Gutter Company. His gloves are fingerless and waxed against sewer water. A copper throat guard protects his neck and doubles as a whistle.
Body Language
He keeps his shoulders loose and his hands visible, but his weight is always angled toward the nearest exit. When suspicious, he lowers his chin and watches people through his brows. When embarrassed, he rubs the worn patch on his belt pouch. In combat, he turns sideways and seems to fold around attacks rather than evade them.
