Appearance
Sheshen is a lean, red-brown tiefling man with swept-back black horns that curve close to his skull like polished ram horn. He is currently bound in a corner cage made from lashed branches, dehydrated, feverish, and visibly weakened. His left leg is badly splinted with crooked goblin stakes and strips of bark, while a deep gash across his right shoulder has begun to fester beneath a stiffening bandage. Even exhausted, he watches every hand, foot, and weapon in the room. His clothes hang loose from lost weight, but one small blue sash has been washed and folded with absurd care. The unexpected contrast is that his infernal appearance suggests menace, while his movements are quiet, deliberate, and almost ceremonious, as if he is afraid of disturbing the air.
“His speech is soft, breathy, and heavily deliberate, with sibilant consonants that linger on words such as stone, serpent, and shelter. His Chultan accent carries subtle Hungarian and Turkic rhythms, especially when he is tired.”

Distinguishing Features
A pair of closely swept black horns with pale, naturally ridged tips.
A cobalt-blue sash kept immaculate despite the rest of his clothing being filthy.
A long prehensile tail that curls around his good ankle when he is anxious.
A breathy speaking voice that turns into a dry rasp whenever he tries to conceal pain.
His left leg is crudely splinted and his right shoulder bears a badly infected gash.
Voice
“A low, dry, breathy tenor that often sounds like it is passing through clenched teeth. His voice becomes warm and unexpectedly melodic when speaking to children, animals, or people who are badly hurt.”
Clothing
A mud-stained sleeveless hunting tunic of faded ochre cloth, patched trousers, a loosened leather belt, and a single carefully maintained cobalt-blue sash inherited from his mother. His sandals are missing one sole, and the remaining straps have been repaired with fishing line. His shoulder wound is covered by a filthy linen wrap, while his broken leg is held in a visibly incompetent splint made from bark, cord, and bent stakes.
Body Language
Sheshen keeps his injured leg angled away from others and braces one hand against the cage whenever someone approaches. He rarely blinks during tense conversations. His tail remains tucked close to his good leg, but its tip taps a slow rhythm when he is calculating. When someone offers genuine kindness, his shoulders lower before his expression does.
