Appearance
Mosi is a broad-shouldered, soft-faced man whose presence feels warmer than the salt-stained halls of the Coilwright Exchange. He moves with the careful economy of someone carrying a bowl filled to the brim, placing his weight on the balls of his feet even when standing still. His breathing is normally audible and steady, almost like a quiet tide through reeds, but when someone threatens one of his charges it stops completely. In those moments he becomes terrifyingly still, with his hands loose at his sides and his attention fixed so completely that people often begin apologizing before he speaks. His clothing hangs heavily from him, textured with salt dust, wax, and old sea mist. The unexpected contradiction is that his gentle smile reveals a chipped front tooth painted gold, giving his kind expression the unsettling glint of a predator's grin.
“His voice is low, warm, and carefully paced, with a gentle rasp like cloth drawn across unfinished wood. He speaks clearly without raising his volume.”

Distinguishing Features
A chipped front tooth capped in dull gold that catches the light when he smiles
A breathing rhythm that sounds like a quiet tide and vanishes entirely when he becomes enraged
Salt crystals embedded in the creases of his knuckles despite frequent washing
A habit of tilting his head toward empty corners as if listening to someone standing there
An unusually still posture that makes nearby movement feel hurried and clumsy
Voice
“A deep, patient baritone with a soft rasp and tide-like breathing. His normal voice invites confidence, while his anger creates long, breathless silences that make every word afterward feel final.”
Clothing
A layered indigo work coat sealed with wax at the seams, a cream-colored wrap shirt, heavy trousers tucked into salt-stiffened boots, and a broad belt hung with labeled brass keys. He wears a faded red scarf from Namar beneath his collar and keeps a small salt pouch tied over his heart.
Body Language
Mosi keeps his shoulders open and his palms visible, leaning slightly toward frightened people and slightly away from arrogant ones. While waiting, he balances his weight on the front of his feet, as if prepared to step between danger and someone else. When rattled, he stops blinking for several seconds, lowers his chin, and becomes so still that the faint creak of his clothing seems loud.
