Theron Varg
Druid 6, Cleric 2
Theron Varg
Species
Human
Appearance
Theron moves with the careful balance of a man walking across a submerged bridge. His vestments drag softly over the ground, shedding pale lichen spores that glimmer in torchlight and smell faintly of wet stone. His face is narrow and weathered, with a blunt nose, deep-set eyes, and a mouth that seems permanently prepared to sing or deliver a sentence. His hands are broad and scarred, yet he handles fragile root-filaments with a midwife's delicacy. The contradiction is striking: he looks severe enough to command a burial rite, but small green shoots sometimes push from his sleeves when he becomes genuinely amused.
“His voice is low, resonant, and textured by years of chanting in stone chambers. He speaks slowly enough that listeners feel compelled to quiet themselves.”

Distinguishing Features
A black iron chime-hammer whose head contains a sliver of resonant rootwood
A vertical scar beneath his left eye that glows faintly green near active leyline currents
Three small rootlets growing beneath the skin of his right wrist
A missing upper-left incisor replaced with a polished seed-stone
His shadow sometimes bends toward nearby roots instead of following the light
Voice
“A deep baritone with a damp, subterranean resonance, like a bell struck beneath a forest floor.”
Clothing
Layered cave-silk robes in charcoal, peat-brown, and muted green, stitched with root-patterns in copper thread. A mantle of dried moss rests over one shoulder, while small bone and seed chimes hang from his belt. His boots are wrapped in treated bark and soft leather to keep his footfalls quiet.
Body Language
Theron stands very still when listening, with his head inclined and one hand resting against his ribs. When angered, he does not raise his voice. Instead, his fingers tighten around the chime-hammer while roots slowly curl around his boots. In moments of compassion, he kneels so that his eyes are level with the person he is addressing.
