Appearance
Vaskrinna stands unusually straight for a gnome, with long-limbed, almost human proportions and a spring-loaded posture that makes her look ready to step onto a stage at any moment. Her tan face is broad through the cheeks and framed by a somewhat broad nose, a generous mouth, and small square teeth that show whenever she smiles, which is often. Her bright amber-brown eyes shine with such immediate interest that strangers sometimes feel examined, then flattered, then examined again. Her royal-purple hair erupts in thick, wiry locks in every direction, with several strands permanently hooked around the beads of her earrings. She walks heel-first and favors her left side, not from injury but from years of carrying a ceremonial drum against her right hip. Her hands are quick and expressive, yet when frightened she becomes perfectly still, like a painted figure. The unexpected contradiction is that her exuberant face belongs to someone whose resting expression is severe and scholarly, making her sudden smiles seem almost startlingly warm.
