Kitega Gakori
Bard
Kitega Gakori
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
Kitega is a copper-scaled dragonborn woman with a narrow waist, broad hips, and a powerful, full-chested silhouette built more like a dancer than a soldier. Her scales overlap in fine, dry plates like hammered roofing copper, darkening to green-bronze along her shoulders and hips. She moves with a noticeable leftward drift, as though every step is correcting for a deck that is not there, yet her balance is flawless. Within a minute of meeting her, most people notice that she almost never blinks during conversation. When calm, her breathing is soft and measured through her nose. When angered, each breath clicks faintly between her teeth and a pinprick of blue light flickers at the back of her throat. The unexpected contradiction is her gentleness: despite her imposing size and resonant voice, she handles cups, coins, and frightened animals with extraordinary delicacy.
“Her speech has a low musical cadence with crisp stops on hard consonants. She rolls certain r sounds and lengthens vowels when singing.”

A row of tiny brass bells is sewn inside her coat and can be heard only when she turns sharply.
Her lower jaw bears a natural line of pale cream scales that resembles a painted smile.

She carries herself with a slight leftward drift that makes her seem perpetually in motion even while standing still.
Voice
“Low, resonant, and musical, with a faint metallic undertone. Her laughter sounds like a struck wineglass, while anger makes her voice quiet enough that listeners lean toward her.”
Clothing
A sleeveless indigo traveling coat fitted with copper clasps, a rust-red sash wrapped twice around her waist, reinforced charcoal trousers, soft leather boots, and a high-collared cream blouse. Her clothing is tailored for movement but decorated with tiny brass bells sewn into the inner hems.
Body Language
Kitega stands with her weight slightly favoring her left foot and angles her torso toward whoever seems most vulnerable in a room. She rests two claws against her sternum when choosing her words. In danger, she lowers her head and spreads her elbows like a folded kite preparing to open.
