Malrec Vhalzor
Wizard
Malrec Vhalzor
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Malrec Vhalzor is an elegant, severe abyssal tiefling who carries himself like a battlefield monument that learned to breathe. His skin is obsidian-black with a faint glassy sheen, as if polished by ash and moonlight, and when he turns his head the surface catches dim reflections like dark stone in a tomb. His horns arc back in sharp, blade-like points, ridged with natural grooves that resemble the ribs of a buried crown. His six-fingered hands are long and delicate, each fingertip capped with a silver ring etched in funerary sigils. He wears dark, tailored military robes cut with the precision of parade armor, embroidered in silver and bone-white filigree that looks almost ceremonial until one notices how easily the cloth moves in combat. A contradiction always follows him: despite his chilling presence, his robes smell faintly of lavender soap and rain-damp cedar, an effort at cleanliness that feels strangely tender on a man of necromancy. His movement is measured and economical, with the controlled poise of a drill master and the predatory stillness of a grave spider waiting under a stone.
“Measured, formal, and clipped with the cadence of an officer delivering orders; when angry, his words become colder rather than louder, and when he is alone his voice softens into graveyard-smooth whispers.”

Distinguishing Features
Six-fingered hands marked by infernal blood and ritual silver rings
A faint pale green glow in the eyes that intensifies when he casts necromancy
A thin scar across the throat that he covers with a stiff high collar
Horns shaped like blackened sabers
A permanent trace of grave dust that never seems to leave the seams of his cuffs
Voice
“Low, cool, and exact, with a faintly ceremonial cadence that makes every sentence sound like either a verdict or a benediction”
Clothing
Dark military robes tailored like an officer's coat, fitted shoulders, high collar, silver cord piping, bone-white filigree, black leather gloves with the fingertips removed, and polished boots with iron toe caps
Body Language
He stands with his hands clasped behind his back when calm, fingers interlaced in a way that hides the extra digit on each hand. In battle he tilts his head slightly, as though listening to distant drums only he can hear, and his gaze locks on a target with unnerving stillness. He rarely wastes motion, but when he is emotionally unsettled his left hand twitches as if reaching for a sword he no longer carries.
