Tibrak Saffri
Species
Gnome
Appearance
Tibrak is a female gnome with unusually humanlike proportions: long limbs, a narrow waist, level shoulders, and hands large enough to make her gestures look almost theatrical. Her tan face is broad through the cheeks, with a somewhat broad nose, a wide open smile, and bright eyes that dart toward doors, rafters, windows, pockets, and unattended cups before returning to the speaker. Her vivid green hair springs outward in every direction in stiff, soft-edged tufts, as though each strand has just heard an interesting rumor. She stands perfectly upright but never quite still, shifting her weight from the balls of her feet to her heels in tiny rhythmic corrections. Her clothes smell faintly of dried mint, lamp oil, and red clay. The unexpected contradiction is that her exuberant face and riotous hair surround an almost solemn, statue-still posture whenever someone mentions a grave, a promise, or a missing person.
“Fast, bright, and richly descriptive, with occasional rolled consonants and soft Levantine and Romani-inspired rhythms. She slows dramatically when speaking about the dead or making a promise.”

Distinguishing Features
Bright green hair that sticks outward in every direction like a living burst of curiosity.
A broad, infectious smile beneath a broad nose, usually accompanied by eyes searching the entire room.
Her left glove is cobalt blue and covered in tiny stitched numbers.
She stands upright and still when serious subjects arise, creating a striking contrast with her restless gaze.
The hems of her clothes contain miniature embroidered maps that change from garment to garment.
Voice
“A warm contralto for a gnome, quick and musical without becoming childish. Her laughter arrives in short bursts, while her serious voice becomes low, carefully articulated, and almost unnervingly calm.”
Clothing
She wears a clay-brown fitted coat over a moss-green tunic, narrow russet trousers, and soft boots wrapped with red thread. Every garment is elaborately decorated with tiny stitched roads, wells, birds, seeds, and household symbols. A broad sash holds folded maps and colored cords. Her modest earth tones are interrupted by bright green thread, brass beads, and one cobalt-blue glove worn only on her left hand.
Body Language
She stands straight with her feet slightly apart, placing more weight on whichever foot is nearer the nearest exit. While listening, she tilts her head toward the speaker but lets her eyes roam over the room. Her hands are almost always busy folding a map corner, touching an embroidered charm, or counting invisible beats against her thumb.
