Appearance
Tzintli is a lean young man whose confidence enters a room several seconds before he does. He wears his seven-league boots with absurd care, polishing their cracked red leather until they shine like wet fruit, while every other piece of clothing has been patched, re-stitched, or borrowed. He moves with a loose, bouncing stride that abruptly becomes perfectly still whenever someone lies to him. His grin is quick and crooked, and one canine tooth is capped in dull brass. His hands are sun-browned and callused, but his fingernails are meticulously clean. The contradictory impression is impossible to miss: he looks like a reckless roadside bravo, yet he folds blankets, maps, and letters with the tenderness of a meticulous housekeeper.
“Fast, bright, and teasing, with clipped sentences when excited. He peppers conversation with race metaphors, road slang, and sudden sincere observations that he immediately disguises as jokes.”

Distinguishing Features
A brass-capped canine tooth that flashes whenever he grins.
Immaculately polished red leather boots amid otherwise heavily patched clothing.
A habit of standing perfectly motionless for one breath when someone lies.
A narrow strip of blue thread sewn around his left wrist, taken from the scarf of a dead courier.
He smells faintly of orange peel, saddle soap, and rain-warmed dust.
Voice
“A warm, rapid tenor with a rough edge from dust, shouting across ravines, and too many nights spent sleeping beside campfires.”
Clothing
A faded saffron coat with mismatched brass buttons, dark travel trousers, a red scarf repaired with blue thread, fingerless gloves, and immaculate custom seven-league boots. His coat is too large in the shoulders and too short at the wrists, suggesting it belonged to someone taller and broader.
Body Language
He leans forward as though permanently caught in the first instant of a sprint. His shoulders are relaxed, but his feet constantly test the floor. When listening sincerely, he removes one glove and rubs the seam of his thumb against his palm.
