Appearance
Kiln-Warden is assembled from thick blocks of grey granite, each surface rubbed smooth by years of handling freight, then reinforced with narrow brass bands that cross the shoulders, ribs, hips, and forearms. An amber Star-Sand core glows behind a reinforced chest furnace grate, pulsing like a banked coal whenever they speak or move. Their head is a blunt stone shape with a narrow horizontal visor, and their eyes appear as two steady points of honey-colored light. They move with surprising precision for their massive frame, each step placed carefully between crates and workers. The unexpected detail is their gentleness with fragile objects. They can lift a ceramic cup with the same hands that anchor a loaded crane, though every motion becomes slower and more deliberate when something might break. When angered, their normally quiet breathing changes into a deep, rhythmic furnace draw that makes nearby chains tremble.

Body Language
Kiln-Warden stands perfectly upright, occupying more space than they seem aware of. They angle their torso toward whoever is speaking, never turn their back on unsecured freight, and place one broad hand flat against nearby stone when thinking. When calm, their joints click softly in measured intervals. When rattled, the clicks vanish, their shoulders lock, and the amber core brightens until brass edges glow.
