Prelate Loris Frost-Speaker
Species
White Dragonborn
Appearance
Prelate Loris Frost-Speaker is a tall white dragonborn who stands with such rigid, priestly uprightness that he resembles a frozen standard planted in the floor. His pale scales are nearly flawless, smooth as polished porcelain across the chest and throat, but silver ritual scars form precise descending lines from his brow to the corners of his eyes. His horns are short, swept backward, and capped with black iron rings engraved with legal scripture. He moves with controlled, gliding steps, never hurrying and never appearing to lose balance, even on ice. Heavy ceremonial vestments of stark white and charcoal-grey wool hang over articulated frost-steel half-plate, each plate marked with jagged icicle symbols. His massive mace is ugly rather than ornate, its meteoric iron head pitted like a piece of the night sky. The unexpected contradiction is his hands: broad, scarred, and constantly gentle, with carefully trimmed claws and the habit of smoothing wrinkles from another person's clothing before delivering a sentence of punishment.
“His voice is low, resonant, and carefully paced, with each sentence ending like a verdict. He speaks in rhythmic triads and pauses after important words as though allowing invisible scribes to record them.”

Distinguishing Features
Silver ritual scars etched across the brow and around the eyes.
Black iron rings fitted over his swept-back horns.
A left eye that occasionally clouds with frost when he invokes divine power.
A mace head made from pitted meteoric iron, cold enough to frost nearby metal.
A chain-bound holy text whose pages are written in three inks: white, grey, and blood-red.
Voice
“A deep, controlled bass with a faint crystalline rasp, as though every word is passing over ice. His laughter is almost inaudible and usually occurs at the worst possible moment.”
Clothing
Stark white and charcoal-grey wool vestments layered over articulated frost-steel half-plate. The hem is stitched with tiny silver names of former shrine wardens, while a chain around his belt holds a heavy iron-bound holy text. His gloves are white leather, though the fingertips are darkened by ink and weapon oil.
Body Language
Loris keeps his spine perfectly straight and his hands folded over the head of his mace. He tilts his head by exact degrees when weighing testimony, touches the silver scar over his left eye when lying, and steps closer to frightened people while lowering his voice. His rare anger appears as complete stillness.
