Ketzali Takaq
Species
Githyanki
Appearance
Ketzali Takaq is a broad-hipped, full-bodied githyanki woman with a pronounced hourglass shape, powerful thighs, a deep waist, and the solid weight of someone built to hold a shield wall together. Her body is not the narrow, blade-like silhouette many githyanki expect, and she has learned to turn that difference into tactical misdirection. Her yellow-green skin has a dry, fine texture like sun-baked clay, interrupted by faint silver scars that glimmer whenever she is angry. She moves with surprising softness for her size, placing each foot as carefully as a dancer crossing thin ice. Her face is severe until she smiles, at which point two slightly crooked teeth make her look unexpectedly young. The contradictory impression she leaves is that of a siege engine wearing the patient expression of a village aunt.
“Her voice is low, controlled, and slightly rasping, with clipped consonants and a deliberate rhythm. She pronounces names carefully, as though testing whether each one deserves to be remembered.”

Distinguishing Features
A silver scar runs from her right temple to the corner of her mouth and glows faintly in the presence of psionic activity.
Her left ear is pierced with three tiny bronze rings, each taken from a fallen comrade's armor.
She wears a red woven sash around her waist despite githyanki disdain for sentimental clothing.
Her glaive has a crescent blade of dark metal filled with slow-moving violet light.
She has two crooked lower incisors that show whenever she laughs.
Voice
“Low, dry, and measured, with a rasp like stone dragged across bronze”
Clothing
She wears layered black scale armor beneath a sleeveless wine-red war coat, with a broad bronze belt, red geometric embroidery at the hem, and a quilted sash gifted by a mortal weaver. Her armor has been altered repeatedly around her hips and chest for comfort, a practical choice she refuses to apologize for. She carries a patched gray scarf from her first failed campaign.
Body Language
She plants her feet wide and keeps her shoulders relaxed, making her seem immovable without looking tense. When uncertain, she rubs the first knuckle of her left hand. When furious, she becomes perfectly still except for the slow tightening of her jaw.
