Thranndra Druzaga
Rogue
Thranndra Druzaga
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Thranndra is broad-shouldered and heavily built, with the compact strength of someone who has spent years hauling sacks through cramped cellars rather than swinging a great weapon. Her olive-brown skin is permanently filmed with fine pale dust that settles into the creases of her knuckles, the lines around her mouth, and the short bristles along her jaw. Her lower tusks are small but sharply squared, and one has been capped with a dull brass sleeve engraved with a trader's mark. She moves with an unsettling economy, never wasting a step or turning her whole body when only her eyes need to move. Within a minute of meeting her, most people notice that she repeatedly checks the weight of every object in her hands, even harmless things such as a cup or a child's toy. The contradiction is immediate: she looks like a pit fighter, but handles fragile goods with the reverence of a jeweler.
“Her voice is low, dry, and carefully paced, with a roughness that suggests smoke trapped behind the ribs. She speaks in compact sentences and pauses before names, as though deciding what each person is worth hearing.”

Distinguishing Features
A brass cap covers the tip of her right lower tusk, engraved with a tiny three-line trader's mark
Fine quarry dust permanently powders the creases of her hands and the bristles along her jaw
She unconsciously weighs or tests the balance of nearly everything she touches
The inside of her coat is lined with cloth scraps from former Exchange members' uniforms
Her gaze tracks hands, doorways, and pockets before it ever settles on a face
Voice
“A husky contralto with a gravelly edge, never hurried and rarely raised. Her laugh is sudden, short, and surprisingly warm, like a crate breaking open to reveal something valuable.”
Clothing
A charcoal sleeveless coat reinforced with stitched leather panels, a rust-red work shirt, wide trousers tucked into dust-caked boots, and a belt crowded with keys, wax seals, chalk, lock picks, and ceramic capsules. Her coat lining is sewn from mismatched scraps of uniforms belonging to former Exchange members.
Body Language
Thranndra leans slightly forward as if every conversation is a transaction she intends to complete. She rests two fingers on nearby objects, testing their balance without appearing to do so. When protective, she places herself between another person and the nearest exit. When lying, she becomes unusually gentle, smoothing the edge of her brass-capped tusk with her thumb.
