Appearance
A slender, long-limbed young woman with light bronze skin and a calm, guarded posture. Sheshet keeps her chin slightly raised and one hip angled toward the nearest escape route, as if every room is a negotiation she may need to leave. Her dark hazel eyes are flecked with amber and rarely settle on a face for long. Instead, they measure hands, doorways, belts, windows, and the distance between bodies. Many narrow black braids frame her face, each tied with faded russet thread. She moves with a quiet, economical glide, favoring neither side, but always placing her feet where another person will have difficulty catching her. Within a minute of meeting her, people notice that she takes up more social space than physical space. She can make a cramped room feel formally arranged around her. The contradiction is that her immaculate fingertips and polished manners belong to someone who has spent years crawling beneath wagons, counting grain sacks, and sleeping in roadside dust.
“Her voice is low, breathy, and carefully controlled, with soft sibilants that become almost whisper-like when she is angry. She speaks in short, polished clauses, rarely wastes a word, and occasionally slips into a warm caravan cadence when talking to drivers or laborers.”

Distinguishing Features
Her gaze constantly checks doorways and hands before returning to the speaker.
The russet threads in her braids are tied in tiny counting knots that encode dates and debts.
Her fingertips are unusually soft and clean despite her travel-worn clothing.
She carries herself like someone born to command, yet instinctively makes room for servants, porters, and frightened animals.
Her plain amulet is made from a flattened iron bridge pin recovered from Kharza Ravine.
Voice
“A quiet contralto with a dry, intimate resonance. She can make a compliment sound like a warning and a warning sound like an administrative courtesy.”
Clothing
A tailored russet riding coat with antique-gold piping and no front buttons, worn over a cream high-collared linen shirt. She wears charcoal riding trousers, polished riding boots, and a saffron-lined travel cloak dulled by road dust. Everything is worn but clean, carefully mended, and maintained with almost devotional attention. A plain amulet rests at her chest. Her visible clothing contains no weapon, rod, or ornamental excess.
Body Language
Stillness is her default defense. She stands with her shoulders relaxed, chin lifted, and weight subtly prepared to pivot. Her ledger is held beneath one arm like a shield. When someone lies, her thumb strokes the ledger's worn spine three times. When she trusts someone, she turns her whole body toward them instead of keeping one hip pointed toward escape.
