Dorgo Mtsvane
Fighter, Battle Master
Dorgo Mtsvane
Species
Hill Dwarf
Appearance
An elderly dwarf with a broad, weathered face and a grey-and-silver beard braided into three heavy cords. His left eyebrow is split by an old pick wound, and one ear bears a small iron ring stamped with the mark of Järnryggen. His movements are slow when observed, yet startlingly precise when danger appears. He smells faintly of coal dust, lamp oil, and juniper salve. The unexpected softness of his hands, carefully wrapped in linen because of nerve damage, contrasts with the hard authority of his posture.
“Low, gravelly, and economical. His words carry the clipped rhythm of shouted orders in a mine shaft, but his voice softens noticeably when speaking to injured workers or children.”

Distinguishing Features
A split left eyebrow and a pale scar running from his temple to his cheek.
A grey-and-silver beard divided into three thick braids, each tied with a different metal bead.
A missing tip from his right index finger, lost to a winch chain during his first year as a guard.
An iron ear ring stamped with the obsolete crest of Järnryggen.
A habit of tapping stone three times before entering a new chamber.
Voice
“A deep, dry rasp with the resonance of stone chambers. He pauses before important words, as though listening for an answer from the mountain.”
Clothing
A patched coat of dark charcoal wool beneath layered leather guard plates. His shoulders are covered by a faded red-brown mining cloak, and his boots are reinforced with iron toe caps. He wears no bright ornament except a cracked silver clasp bearing the old crest of Järnryggen.
Body Language
Dorgo stands with his feet planted wide as though the earth might shift beneath him. He keeps one hand near his war pick and repeatedly rubs the iron ring on his ear when recalling the collapse. When someone lies, he tilts his head slightly toward the nearest stone surface.
