Sura

Sura
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
Sura is a compact copper-scaled dragonborn woman whose scales have the dull, pebbled texture of old bronze cookware, with brighter green tarnish gathered around her jaw and knuckles. Her left horn is clipped short and polished smooth, while the right curls backward in a crooked hook. She moves with a low, careful glide, placing each foot as though the floor might betray her. Her hands are quick and constantly busy, but her broad dragonborn face often looks almost sleepy. The contradiction is striking: she has the intimidating silhouette of a crouched predator, yet she smells faintly of citrus soap and keeps a tiny blue ribbon tied around one horn.
“Her sentences are short, deliberate, and edged with dry humor. She speaks Common with a harbor cadence, dropping articles when impatient and stretching vowels when mocking wealthy people.”

Distinguishing Features
One horn is clipped short and polished smooth
A blue ribbon is tied around her longer horn
Three small brass rings pierce the lower edge of her left ear frill
Her acid breath leaves a citrus-metal smell in the air
A pale scar crosses the scales beneath her right eye
Voice
“Low and husky, with a dry rasp that becomes unexpectedly gentle when speaking to frightened people”
Clothing
A rain-darkened brown vest over a sleeveless charcoal shirt, fitted trousers reinforced at the knees, soft-soled dock boots, and a patched yellow scarf wrapped twice around her throat. Her belts carry pouches, vials, lockpicks, and strips of waxed paper rather than obvious weapons.
Body Language
Sura keeps her shoulders slightly hunched, as if expecting a blow from above. Her tail makes small, precise movements when she is lying. When genuinely angry, the tail goes completely still. She touches the blue ribbon on her horn whenever someone says the word father.
