Vida Ojo
Barbarian
Vida Ojo
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Vida is a broad-shouldered tiefling built like a dock crane, with thick wrists, a flattened nose, and a tail scarred in three places from old chains. His brick-red skin has a dry, pebbled texture across the shoulders and a softer copper sheen along his palms. One horn curves upward in a clean black sweep, while the other was broken halfway through and capped with a little brass pie funnel. He moves with startling speed for such a heavy man, leaning into every step as if the ground has personally offended him. His smile is warm, crooked, and usually aimed at the wrong person. The first impression he leaves is of a dangerous brawler dressed for a parade, followed by the smell of hot butter, woodsmoke, and iron.
“A deep, gravelly baritone with a foundryman's rasp. Vida speaks quickly when excited, loudly when embarrassed, and with startling care when addressing children or the dead.”

Distinguishing Features
One horn is broken and capped with a brass pie funnel.
A pale scar runs from his left ear to the corner of his mouth.
His tail bears three narrow chain scars and ends in a tassel of red thread.
He has a missing lower canine replaced with a polished white ceramic tooth.
The inside of his coat is embroidered with the names of people he has escorted to safety.
Voice
“A low, rough voice with a laugh like a dropped iron pan. His words carry across courtyards and battlefields, even when he is trying to whisper.”
Clothing
A sleeveless crimson coat with gold stitching, worn over a soot-black shirt, bright yellow trousers tucked into iron-shod boots, and a white sash printed with tiny pie shapes. His armor is concealed beneath the coat, polished in places but dented everywhere else. He wears brass rings on both thumbs and a ridiculous feathered cap during formal occasions.
Body Language
Vida stands with his chest open and his chin lifted, as if every room is a stage that needs better lighting. He points with his chin, drums his fingers against his axe haft, and crowds close when listening. When ashamed, he becomes unusually still and carefully folds his tail around one ankle. In battle, his posture drops low, his shoulders roll forward, and his grin appears a heartbeat before he charges.
