Brakka
Divine Bastion
Brakka
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Brakka is a towering outsider-god who looks carved from dusk-brown basalt and old scar tissue. Their skin has the grain of river stone, yet it warms slightly near the hands as if an ember lives beneath the surface. Their face is severe and statuesque, but one corner of the mouth often softens into an almost shy expression when children are near. A crown of fractured iron halos their head, each shard suspended without visible support, while a single white flower grows from the seam above the left temple, fresh and stubborn against all reason. They move with the careful certainty of a fortress gate closing, every step measured, but they often carry themselves like a grieving midwife protecting a cradle.
“Slow, deliberate, and low. Brakka speaks as though every sentence must bear weight enough to hold up a roof.”

Distinguishing Features
A broken iron halo that floats in a permanent, imperfect ring above the head
A white flower growing from a seam in the skull-like brow
Runes of protection that appear as scar tissue when viewed in moonlight
Hands marked with tiny burn-silver dots like old holy chain links
A voice that sounds like stone warming in sunlight
Voice
“Low, gravelly, and unwavering, with a strangely gentle cadence when speaking to the hurt.”
Clothing
A layered mantle of gray-white battle cloth, prayer strips, and bronze lamellar plates etched with vows of protection. The hem is patched repeatedly in different hands, each repair a gift from a grateful community.
Body Language
Stillness like a sealed gate, with only the hands moving in small protective gestures. When angered, the halo shards tighten into a sharper ring, but when moved by compassion, their shoulders lower and the whole figure seems less like a statue and more like a shelter.
