Vareshi Suthaz
Monk 13, Way of Shadow, Executive Master
Vareshi Suthaz
Species
Aethelgard Half-Dragon, Red Draconic Ancestry
Appearance
Vareshi Suthaz is a tall red half-dragon whose deep crimson scales darken to wine along her shoulders and fade toward black at the joints. Her obsidian-tipped horns sweep back close to her skull, polished smooth where years of silent hoods have rubbed them. She moves with a measured, almost weightless economy, placing each foot as though the stone might remember her. Silent felt wraps cover her hands, calves, and torso, and thousands of fine crimson threads glow beneath the fabric like banked coals. A coiled wire-whip rests at her left hip, its grip worn pale where her thumb has pressed against it during long watches. Her teeth are small, sharp, and remarkably even, but the lower canines extend just far enough to show when she eats. She chews with her mouth closed, slowly and meticulously, yet when she laughs, which is rare, her jaw opens wide and reveals a startling furnace-red interior. The contradiction is disarming: her terrifying face belongs to someone who handles cups, fruit, and wounded animals with almost ceremonial gentleness.
“Low, breathy, and carefully paced, with a soft sibilance that turns names and oath-words into near-whispers. She rarely raises her volume.”

Distinguishing Features
A crimson wire-whip is always coiled at her left hip, with one section of its grip worn pale from years of nervous contact.
The teeth at the corners of her mouth are visibly pointed, and her jaw opens unusually wide when she laughs or takes a large bite.
Fine red oath-threads glow beneath her felt wraps and pulse faintly with her breathing.
Her horns are polished smooth near the temples by repeated contact with monastic hoods.
She leaves no audible footfall, even on loose ash or glassy basalt.
Voice
“A restrained contralto with a smoky, breath-soft edge, as if every word has passed through warm ash. Her consonants hiss gently, and her laughter arrives suddenly, broad and bright, before vanishing behind composure.”
Clothing
Layered charcoal felt wraps reinforced with flexible black scale plates at the ribs, knees, and forearms. Crimson oath-threads are woven through the fabric in branching patterns that brighten when she spends Focus. A sleeveless mantle bears the Vow's knotwork seal inside the collar, never displayed outward.
Body Language
Vareshi holds herself upright but never rigidly, with her hands resting near her waist and her head angled slightly toward whoever speaks. She turns her entire body toward a person instead of merely looking at them. During lies, one claw traces the worn section of her whip grip. Before violence, her shoulders drop and her tail becomes perfectly still.
