Zongsé Daima
Species
Vandor High Elf
Appearance
Zongsé Daima is a tall Vandor High Elf with dark copper skin polished by sun, sweat, and expensive oils. His long bronze hair is usually gathered in a severe knot at the nape, though several deliberately loose strands brush his jaw whenever he fights. His garnet eyes are bright, watchful, and faintly contemptuous, as if every room has already failed to meet his standards. He moves with an athletic economy that makes stillness look threatening. Even at rest, he occupies more space than necessary, standing half a pace too close and turning his shoulders as though other people are furniture. The contradiction is striking: his hands are callused and battered from years of combat, but his nails are buffed, lacquered, and scented with imported clove oil. He leaves behind the impression of a blade wrapped in velvet.
“His voice is smooth, low, and carefully paced, with the polished diction of someone who learned courtly speech by listening from outside locked doors. He pronounces prices with more warmth than names and becomes almost tender when describing high-quality fabric.”

Distinguishing Features
His bronze hair is held by a heavy signet clasp shaped like a closed eye, worth more than most commoners' houses.
He wears one immaculate cream sash even after combat, while the rest of his outfit may be torn, dusty, or spattered with blood.
His garnet eyes track hands and exits before faces, making introductions feel like security inspections.
He habitually stands too close, forcing strangers either to retreat or acknowledge his dominance.
His knuckles are callused, but his nails are polished with dark red lacquer and smell faintly of clove oil.
Voice
“Low, velvet-smooth, and imperious, with clipped consonants and a faint musical lilt that becomes sharper whenever money is discussed.”
Clothing
He wears layered teal and wine-red silk under a sleeveless bronze-threaded coat, fitted trousers, and soft-soled boots with lacquered red heels. His clothes are visibly repaired by expert hands, with nearly invisible stitching at the elbows and waist. One item is cared for obsessively: a cream-colored sash embroidered with tiny gold river reeds, cleaned after every fight even when the rest of his clothing is bloodstained.
Body Language
Daima leans into conversations rather than back from them, invading personal space with calculated confidence. He lounges against walls as if they were built for him, but his feet remain perfectly positioned for a sudden pivot. Before a fight, he smooths his cuffs, checks the fall of his sash, and smiles only with one corner of his mouth.
