Sava Qorun
Fighter
Sava Qorun
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Sava is a young half-orc woman with a narrow waist, powerful shoulders, and the compact, corded musculature of someone who has hauled timber, bellows, and wounded people rather than trained for display. Her movements are careful and economical, but when startled she turns with startling speed, as if her body remembers danger before her mind does. A few permanent scars mark her life: three pale rope-burn bands around her left wrist, a puckered cut along the outside of her right calf, and a cluster of tiny white marks across one shoulder from flying metal fragments. Her tusks are small and blunt, and she habitually presses her lower lip against one when thinking. She smells faintly of iron filings, dried mint, and woodsmoke, a scent she does not notice until someone points it out. The unexpected contradiction is her hands. They are broad, callused, and strong enough to bend a horseshoe, yet she handles cups, moths, and frightened children with almost ceremonial delicacy.
“Soft and slightly husky, with careful pauses between sentences. Her Common is precise but occasionally shaped by Orcish word order.”

Distinguishing Features
Her lower tusks are small, smooth, and polished from years of nervous biting.
Three pale rope-burn bands circle her left wrist.
She smells faintly of iron filings, dried mint, and woodsmoke.
Before speaking in a tense situation, she inhales through her nose, pauses, and taps her thumb twice against her palm.
A thin line of silver thread is sewn into the hem of her green scarf, visible only when she moves.
Voice
“A low, gentle contralto with a rough edge from years around smoke, dust, and forge heat. Her laugh is sudden and unexpectedly bright, while her battle orders are short enough to sound like struck metal.”
Clothing
A faded russet work shirt under a sleeveless charcoal gambeson, patched leather trousers, wool wrappings around her forearms, and soft-soled traveling boots. She wears a blue thread bracelet made by her mother and keeps a folded green scarf tucked beneath her collar.
Body Language
She keeps her elbows close and often folds her large hands around one wrist. In unfamiliar company she stands half a step behind others, but when danger appears she moves to the front without seeming to decide. She leans toward people when listening, then looks away at the moment they meet her eyes.
