Kettik Gazar
Rogue, Inquisitive
Kettik Gazar
Species
Cinderclaw, Hoard-Warden
Appearance
Kettik Gazar is a compact Cinderclaw with ochre scales that darken to rust along his spine and elbows. His jaw is broad and powerful, with two lower incisors extending over his upper lip like blunt brass pegs. When he eats, he dismantles food into exact bites before crushing each one with a dry, audible click. He moves with unnerving economy, planting each foot as though testing a bridge before trusting it. His tail remains perfectly still even when the rest of him works quickly. Dark red Star-Sand thread is woven through the scales around his claws, glowing faintly whenever someone nearby speaks a sworn promise. The unexpected softness of his appearance comes from the small blue wool cap he wears beneath his hood, knitted for him by a child from Deep Spark.
“A low, dry whisper with clipped consonants and careful pauses. He pronounces names exactly as given, never shortens them, and drops his voice further when discussing blood, dragons, or buried things.”

Voice
“Quiet, papery, and almost breathless, with a faint rasp like a needle dragged across copper.”
Clothing
A dark leather apron reinforced with overlapping basalt scales, a soot-gray hood, wrapped climbing trousers, soft split-toe mountain boots, and a small blue wool cap tucked beneath the hood. Copper needles, wire spools, sealing wax, and folded oath slips hang in carefully numbered loops.
Body Language
He keeps his shoulders low and his head slightly tilted, as though listening to a distant machine beneath the floor. His claws make tiny adjustments to thread tension while he speaks. When angered, he becomes almost completely motionless, and the red strands around his claws begin to glow.
